When my two young sons ended up with special needs as a result of toxins, everything stopped. I began a journey to heal them, and along the way I realized I needed to give greater attention to my own wellness.

I began by learning to pay attention to myself and by honoring my creative outlets. Gone was the constant need to impress others, and in its place was a newfound appreciation for my personal wellbeing.

This led me on a quest to heal my own physical ailments – things like headaches, bloating, and moodiness. By turning my attention toward my own needs, I saw a steady improvement in the health of my little boys.

Gradually, my confidence increased as I recognized my power to control what went on around me. I learned to make educated decisions about the food I prepared for my family and what I exposed them to.

Now, I have remarkable balance in my life. I’ve defined my personal boundaries and am healthfully productive in all areas of my life. But even better, being productive is now just one fun feature of how I live. It enhances my days instead of defining them.
