Stop Trying So Hard

Thursday, October 29th, 2009

Ever want something so badly, you dedicated yourself to making “it” happen, only to find the harder you tried the more your goal seemed to allude you?

I can relate!

My youngest son still has some slight special needs and it seems over the past few weeks some of his “needs” have become more problematic for him, us and school…

When we’ve hit these blips in the past, I’ve gotten that nervous feeling, and immediately starting searching for new ways to support him and balance his body- different foods, homeopathic remedies, more nurturing time together, etc…

Yes, this time I took a short period of time to search my brain for some new answers, and then came the shift. I let go of the need to find the answers. I realigned with that inner feeling of true knowing that, guess what- this is just another blip. He will indeed pass through this. The best thing I can do is to NOT try so hard.

Amazingly, as I’ve done this, answers have come to me… and the best part, my son’s body is slowly but surely rebalancing (without any nervousness and stress on my behalf!)

Lesson to self: sometimes it’s better to let go and STOP trying so hard!

If you can relate, I welcome you to try the same!

Stop Playing Small!

Friday, October 23rd, 2009

Have you been limiting yourself, allowing yourself to be LESS than what you can be? Maybe afraid to try new things, nervous to wear a spicy new outfit, perhaps afraid of being judged and not blending in with the crowd…

If you answered “yes” to any of these, then listen in to my latest Wellness Coaching Tip:

Dance Like Nobody is Watching

Friday, October 23rd, 2009

This week is the rollout of my new Royal Advisor Program.

This is BIG!

This is a program that provides a VERY HIGH LEVEL OF SUPPORT.

And, it’s all about “dancing like nobody is watching!” aka live with complete confidence and begin to step into the best version of your true self.

Yes, this program is NOT for everyone. It’s only for those who are interested and ready to make changes NOW. It’s for those who are intelligent, open minded and aware that by enhancing what they eat and how they live, they can positively effect EVERY area of their life!

Since this is a high level program, it’s only natural that it supports HIGH LEVEL people, those people engaging in things I consider fun and inspiring: celebrities, artists, dancers, musicians, designers, writers, entrepreneurs, mother’s taking a hiatus from such a career…

Royal Advising helps you expedite the process of transforming your life. In this program you’ll

-Clear up health concerns: headaches, aches and pains, lose weight, insomnia, etc…
-Increase your energy
-Improve your focus and mental clarity
-Improve your moods- happy and calm become your “normal”
-Gain lots of self confidence- really “dance like no one is watching!”

Imagine: It’s The End Of Your Life, What Would You Want Your Life To Have Been Like?

Friday, October 16th, 2009

While attending a funeral this week, I thought to myself, what if we all decided exactly what we want our lives to look like. Instead of having our lives taking a hold of us and ending up whatever way they (our lives) end up, we make a choice. We choose what we want our lives to be.

We start at the end of our lives and decide, ok, before I pass, what do I want my life to have been like…

We have this choice now.

We can be mostly happy or we can be mostly angry or sad. We can be victims with everything happening TO us or we can take charge of our lives. We can be healthy and feel good, or we can suffer, we can be loving or we can withhold love, we can be wealthy or penniless, we can live up to our potential or we can play small, on and on…the choice is ours…What is your choice?

Sit down, with pen and paper in hand and imagine that you’re in your last days here on earth. Decide what you want your life to have looked like. What will you have accomplished, what type of person were you. How close were you with friends and family? How active were you?

Write down what you imagine.

Now, compare that list to what you presently have in your life. Does it match? Where are there discrepancies? Where might your life need some tweaking? Don’t worry if what you want for your last days here doesn’t at all resemble where you’re at now. Just by writing down what you want, you’ve started the process toward change.

Next, promise yourself to make small changes to one area you’ve listed that doesn’t “jive” with what you want for your life and health….

Good luck! You’re on your way!
