Check out this week’s video tip and start Dancing Like Nobody is Watching!!

I’ve been having fun speaking at Women’s Gatherings.
It’s been wonderful watching women open up, share, be inspired and leave motivated and ready to make changes!
I’ve gotten great feedback.
One bit of what I’ve heard is that people are touched and impressed that I “speak from the heart”. This way of speaking and being really affects people.
Sharing and showing our “realness” (what we really feel) is how we connect with others.
When we hold back by trying to say the perfect thing or say what we think others want to hear, we do ourselves and others a disservice.
Because we’re not being authentic. We’re performing in a sense.
As a result, we’re missing the opportunity to really connect with another human being.
Now, if you fall into this category it’s okay. We’ve all been there.
What you do from here is how you’ll now make a difference in your life.
The next time you’re speaking with someone, your spouse, significant other, friends, etc.. Notice yourself. Notice if you feel comfortable really sharing.
If not, it’s okay.
Don’t judge yourself.
Just allow yourself to notice your patterns.
Then muster up the courage and when an opportunity arises- speak what you really feel.
If need be, first do this with someone you’re really close to. It makes it easier and more comfortable.
Then- keep going. Keep speaking up when you feel moved to.
I promise, as you continue to do this, your “speak from the heart” muscle will strengthen and it will be easier and easier to share what you really feel.
The best part?
You create deep, loving, lasting connections with those around you.
How can it get any better then that?!

Ever feel like you have the same daily schedule?
I certainly use to.
Wake up around the same time, eat breakfast. Perhaps help the kids get ready for school. Bring the kids to school.
Work. Run errands. Make dinner. Eat dinner. Get kids ready for bed. Pick up. Get things done around the house or for the family. Stay up late. Crash- go to bed. Wake up, do it all over again.
Maybe when you’re lucky you do a little something for yourself, but not too consistently.
You feel like taking care of yourself is luxury, and your family, your home, your career and even your friends come first.
Ok. If this sounds like you then now is the time to CHANGE.
If you ever want to feel better, live a happier healthier life you need to make yourself a priority NOW. Not in a week, 2 months, or I year from now. NOW. Postponing helping yourself is just another way of placing yourself last on the list and in turn, delaying your right to happiness and great health.
You deserve better.
So how can you restore your body to great health and refresh your life?
Start with doing something different.
Change your schedule (even slightly): sign up for a program, class, conference, workshop- whatever.
Be certain the topic is something that interests you. Make sure it adds value to who you are and your life.
Then, go ahead, (take a deep breath on this one) rearrange your schedule and attend!
Doing something different- especially when doing something different means adding value to your well-being, is just what your health and life need.
Notice how you feel more energized for doing so.
Watch how it feels easier to enjoy your family, your home, and even your schedule.
Everything feels different- better, once you begin to do something for YOU, just for you!
So, take another deep breath and get out there, and find something to sign up for that helps you feel good!
*Hang tight. For those of you who are ready for a change, I have an upcoming program that just may interest you: * 8 weeks to jumpstart your ability to focus and finally get things done. Learn 7 health secrets to being more productive. Stay tuned for “Program Preview Call” 2 weeks from now!
Here’s this week’s video tip: Helping You Learn to Dance Like Nobody is Watching…
It’s a new day!
No more yesterday blues!
Yup. For those of you following my blog posts, yesterday was an “off” day.
I’m feeling GREAT now!
I’m in a place of feeling so much gratitude for feeling happy, for my life, for my family, my house, even the soft warm clothes I’m currently wearing! (They are comfortable!)
Sometimes we just have to make it through some crappy days in order to appreciate the good days.
Even when it rains we know the sun will eventually emerge.
And, when it does, it tends to feel that much warmer and seems to shine that much brighter.
So, as I mentioned yesterday, take that “rainy day” in stride.
And have faith that sunny days do appear!
I can attest to this!
Yesterday I sat with sadness. Today- I awoke with gratitude and happiness!
I allowed my emotions to play their course naturally.
And, once they did, I remembered to feel much gratitude for the switch!
Ah, here-in lies the second ingredient for the recipe of feeling great again:
Let yourself appreciate you, your life and everything about you and I guarantee you will begin to feel wonderful!
As a matter of fact, take a moment right now and think of 3 things you’re thankful for.
Now, take another moment and really “feel” how good it is to have these things in your life.
Now you’ve officially begun the process of feeling great!
Keep it up everyday and watch how wonderful you feel!
