Super Easy Way to Create Ease in Your Life!

I’ve been experiencing some wonderful days lately.

Even though my life has been busy, I feel like I’ve stepped into a flow, and even being busy is easy.

In the past being busy has meant (at times) STRESS for me.

See, I had a tendency to keep myself busy, kid’s activities, house stuff, family events, work, etc., and even though I could easily get a lot done (I love completing things!) I had a tendency to do so in a rushed, sometimes frantic manner.

I could always feel myself, getting stressed and looking just like my mother once did (that same old family scene I use to watch as a child). (My mother by the way is a wonderful woman, just human, like the rest of us, and prone to stress!)

As an adult this feeling of pressure- stressing myself out over getting something done, or wanting to be on time, and feeling, (and being) limited for time has definitely brought out the worst in me, or more nicely put, my “shadow side”, the one I’m not so excited to admit I have peeks out or sometimes Roars it’s ugly head, when I’m under stressful busy conditions!

So, the fact that I’ve been EXTRA busy lately and have handled things in a calm, comfortable, EASY fashion is HUGE!!!

Now I know there are several contributing factors, all having do with the food I eat & the lifestyle choices I make- yep, those are certainly important factors not to be forgotten.

But, since I’ve been making these same healthy choices for sometime now, the main variable that has recently changed that I know is a STRONG contributor to my overall feeling of PEACE is that I’ve been using Afformations.

Afformations is a termed coined by Noah St. John and shared in his book: The Secret Code of Success.

Here’s what an afformation is: it’s an affirmation in the form of a question.

Let me be clearer: imagine you have something you’re lacking in your life, I’ll use peace and ease as an example. Instead of talking about what you don’t have happening in your life ie, Damn, I’m so tire of things being difficult… You switch your thoughts and your words to a question that encompasses that which you WANT to experience in your life.

Example: What are the possibilities that my life is peaceful and easy? (Then you probe deeper) What would it feel like to have my life be easy and peaceful? What would I think as my life is peaceful and easy? How would I act and live as my life is peaceful and easy? And on and on…

What you’re doing is putting it out there to the Universe what you’re contemplating, the Universe can then answer you back in the form of life examples, wonderful instances that support what you’re looking and hoping to feel in your life.

In addition, whenever we ask ourselves a question, our minds search for an answer, so your mind, even when you’re no longer thinking about these questions, will then find answers for you.

These answers, (or ideas) if you choose to follow them, will undoubtably lead you to the peace & ease you were initially wanting!

Sound too easy? Not a believer?

Try it! Try creating an afformation and using it several times a day for a week.

Watch what happens- I promise, some pretty cool stuff will arise!

What Can Give You Loads of Energy? Hint: It’s Not Caffeine.

I came across a short article that supports my belief that being out in nature trumps coffee, soda and most other stimulants in the energy arena.

If you currently consume caffeine in some fashion- no biggie (most people do)!

Just by adding more time outdoors in good ol’ mother nature, you’ll begin to feel more mentally alert, you’ll have more energy…and there’s a good chance if you follow this consistently, you’ll have less of a need for caffeine.

Give it a try, you’ve got nothing to lose and LOTS of energy to gain!

Ever Feel Stuck? Try This Little Trick, it Shifts You Quickly!

Ever argue with your kids or your spouse and feel like this is IT.

You feel stuck in the same place and can’t really forsee living differently?

You’ve resigned yourself to thinking that whatever is happening to your body: your skin not so smooth and silky any longer, your muscles not feeling as strong or vibrant.

This you chalk up to older age.

And, going, going and doing, doing is just the way it is- this is how everyone’s life is, right?

Wrong!

First, you are not stuck.

You can change how you and your family & spouse interact.

You can even change how your body looks; your skin, your muscles.

No, older age is not something that steals your youth away, absolutely not.

YOU steal your youth away.

Your thinking that you’re stuck and something else is controlling you is what anchors you, it’s this thinking and believing you’re stuck that creates this to begin with, and allows you to stay in this same holding pattern.

How to become unstuck?

First: Go easy on yourself, nobody is happy & calm, with life going smoothly, all of the time.

So, drop the self guilt and judgement.

Next, start to tell yourself your life and wherever you’re stuck “can be different.”

Start asking yourself questions around this: how can this _______ (you fill in the blank) be different?

How can this get better?

What can I do to improve this?

As you begin to ask questions your mind does a funny thing, it starts to relax and loosen up.

You begin to notice you feel more hopeful and less “stuck”.

And then finally, because you were asking questions, you begin to receive answers.

Ideas to do things differently start to come to you.

This is when you want to take action.

You wanted things to be different, you asked how they could, and now armed with some answers (or ideas) you want to move forward and apply them.

Once you do this, you are absolutely well on your way to being “unstuck” and living the happy, vibrant life you deserve!
