2nd Step to Feeling Calm in the Midst of Chaos & A Great Vacation Strategy

Tuesday, July 19th, 2011

Just back from Block Island, Rhode Island. Had a great time swimming, catching some rays and hanging out with family.

Wanted to keep the thread going from last week, sharing more of what can help you to feel steadfastly calm even if things get harried in your house or with your family, or perhaps even with extended family.

By the way, I was very happy I had been following my own advice on how to remain calm in the midst of chaos.

Why? Because, vacation, while it’s always fun, not every moment is always easy, espeically when you share a house with your extended family. So, putting into practice this tip REALLY became handy and was a huge asset. It enabled me to walk away from vacation feeing like, wow, that was a great time, instead of (as in summer vacations from years past) feeling like, I don’t want to do that again!

So, without further ado, here is this week’s video tip, click here to watch and find out how you can better handle any summer vacation chaos that may arise!

In the comments section below, tell me about your experiences. Ever get frustrated while on vacation with extended family? We’ve all been there! I Invite you to share your stories & insights and how you managed to move past the turmoil!

What it Means When You No Longer Cry Over Commercials & Children’s Stories- Video Tip

Thursday, June 30th, 2011

Do you think of yourself as someone who cries easily- even over commercials?

Or maybe you get frustrated or impatient, thinking your family members (or someone in your life) is such a pain in the butt.

Maybe you’ve even labeled yourself as someone who gets upset easily?

Here’s my point: It’s time to rethink that label. You are NOT someone who gets upset easily: mad, angry, sad, whatever…no, no, no!

You simply are someone who’s body is sending them a message. That message is, “Hello, I’m feeling out of sorts here, I’m off and could use some extra attention to bring me back into balance.”

Yes, your body speaks to you in many ways, one of those ways happens to be through your emotions. If you’re balanced, you feel calm, less reactionary. If you’re “off” your body will tell you by sending you lots of extreme emotions like anger, sadness, impatience… and this will happen often.

This is where people get confused. They think because it’s happening often they must be an ‘angry’ or ‘sad’ kind of person. NO, wrong!!!

Their body is just begging for attention, “Please balance me!” it’s saying!!

Click here to watch this week’s video tip to hear more on this topic and learn what areas you can begin to pay attention to, to balance your emotions and go back to claiming YOU, the real you (without that “emotional” label”!

In the comments section below, tell me about your experiences. Have you found yourself crying over little things? Or getting frustrated at the drop of a hat? We’ve all been there! I Invite you to share your insights!
